Meteorologist Steven Pfaff with the National Weather Service office in Wilmington has issued the final update on Tropical Storm Chris. The storm was located in a very weak area for steering and is expected to remain off the North Carolina through Monday. There are no impacts expected for Bladen County but marine interests should monitor the storm as it pulls away from the coast over the next several days.
