A crew cleaning up a lot at 424 Martin Luther King Drive in Bladenboro struck a natural gas line on Thursday afternoon. According to emergency officials on the scene, a crew was removing some debris on the lot when the incident ocurred.
Piedmont Natural Gas had been contacted and a crew was on their way to the scene to make repairs.
The Bladenboro Police Department and Bladenboro Fire Department were on the scene.
