Eight people were arrested Monday and seven others were being sought following investigations into the distribution of controlled substances throughout Bladen County, Sheriff James McVicker announced Wednesday afternoon.
A Bladenboro man is in custody in another county and will be served during his next court appearance while three others had been arrested earlier during the probe led by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit.
Arrested Monday were James Oscar Hicks of Lumberton, Angela Deaver Eason of Lumberton, Dennis Allen Sells of Elizabethtown, Robert Eugene Sellers of Elizabethtown, Tristan McRae Singletary of BladenboroSandie Shaw Britt of Elizabethtown, Dillon Keith Long of Bladenboro and Maggie Rose Sutton of Bladenboro.
Authorities are looking for Bronson Mark Brisson of Elizabethtown, Austin Lee Butler of Tar Heel, Stormie Kimberly Gregg of Elizabethtown, Matthew Johnson of Bladenboro, Christopher Johnson of Bladenboro, David A. Jackson of Bladenboro and Dominique Chantea Cratch of Bladenboro.
Anyone with information to the whereabouts of the seven being sought are asked to contact the Vice/Narcotics Unit at 910-862-6960.
Charges are pending against Bladenboro’s Ethan Tyler Davis, who is in custody elsewhere. Arrested earlier in the crackdown were Tonya Carroll Guyton of Elizabethtown, Kirkland McCary Smith of White Lake and Phyliss Michelle Rhodie of Elizabethtown.
Members of the the Bladen County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division and Patrol Division along with the Bladenboro Police Department assisted with the operation.
