3 Things to Know for Parents

When summer vacation comes to an end it can only mean its time to go back to school! The official date to go back to that familiar grind in Bladen County is Monday, August 28th. So before that day comes banging on your door here are some things that you need know!
Before midnight on Sunday, August 20th, go ahead and save $10 on an Early Bird Chromebook discount! The first scheduled deployment is on August 14th at your child’s school. You must complete the online registration form in addition to the online payment to get the Early Bird Discount.
Also, Bladen County Schools have implemented a new transcript system. It is a secure website where you can request transcripts and students records but only if you are a former student, business entity, or educational institution.
All schools will be having a open house on Thursday, August 24th, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. However, West Bladen High School will be having 2 open houses with one for freshman only. All incoming freshmen will need to attend the open house on Tuesday, August 22, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. All upperclassmen attending West Bladen will still be having their open house on August 24th.
