Here are three things to know for Friday, Jan. 26:
1. High School Basketball: Today, 7:30 p.m. The West Bladen boys’ basketball team hosts Fairmont in a battle for first place in the Southeastern Conference. Both teams are 3-0 in league play. The JV boys game opens the tripleheader at 4:30 p.m. followed by the varsity girls game about 6 p.m.
2. Baseball Coaches Clinic: Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon, King Street Gym, Elizabethtown. Instructor is Milton Senter, a member of the N.C. Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame, who has more than 35 years in coaching. Information: Bladen County Recreation Department at 910-862-6770.
