1. Memorial Day Ceremony: Today, 4-4:45 p.m., Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy, 1360 MLK Drive, Elizabethtown. Solemn ceremony honoring fallen heroes.
2. Poppy Drive: Saturday, 9 a.m.-until, Walmart and Tractor Supply parking lot, Elizabethtown. Poppies will be distributed to commemorate the sacrifices to servicemen and servicewomen.
3. Hangout Hub Digital Art Workshop: May 31, 3:30-5:30 p.m., Bladen County Public Library, 111 N. Cypress St., Elizabethtown. Ages 11-18. Free snacks and drive. Information and registration: 910-862-6990.
