Here are three things to know for Friday, Dec. 16:
1. High School Basketball: Today. Bladen County schools open Southeastern Athletic Conference play on the road. West Bladen plays at Clinton and East Bladen plays at Midway. Junior varsity boys games start at 4:30 p.m. followed by girls varsity about 6 p.m. and boys varsity about 7:30 p.m.
