1. High School Soccer: Today, 5:30 p.m. East Bladen hosts Triangle Science & Math in the first round of the NCHSAA 1A playoffs. The Eagles finished second in the Waccamaw Conference with a 10-2 record and are 13-6 overall.
2. Gigantic Yard Sale: Saturday, 7 a.m.-noon, Trinity Methodist Church, 901 West Broad Street, Elizabethtown. Drop off donations Nov. 1-3 inside the Activity Building.
3. Candlelight Tour: Nov. 11, 5:30-8:45 p.m., Moores Creek National Battlefield, 40 Patriots Hall Drive, Currie. Reservations required. Tours depart every 15 minutes. Family-friendly event is free. (READ MORE)
