The Elizabethtown Christian Academy is conducting their first annual golf tourney and space is rapidly filling up. The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 23, with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
Registration for the tournament is open and spots are filling rapidly. Todd Coates said, “It’s going really well.”
As of Friday morning, there were 18 teams entered and there is a 30 team or 120 players cap. There are plenty of prizes for players to win. There will be a putting contest for a chance to win $5,000 and the lucky player who scores a Hole in One on the 16th hole will win a Buick Envision courtesy of Lumberton Chevrolet.
There is still time to register your team. You can sign up by going to www.planmygolfevent.com/30967-Legacy or call Elizabethtown Christian Academy at 910-862-3427.
Registration for the tournament is $40 per player of $160 per team. Sponsorships are also available. A Navy sponsorship costs $500 and includes one 4-man team. An orange sponsorship costs $250 and includes tee box recognition on course. A white sponsorship costs $100 and program recognition.
The tournament is to raise funds to support the school’s legacy with sustained growth and development of the school, their learning center and the STEAM program.
