Elizabethtown’s Jacob Lockamy raced 45 yards to the Panther one yardline. Javonte Matthews banged into the end zone from a yard out for the touchdown. Quarterback Raymond Autry darted into the end zone on the keeper to edge the Cougars ahead 8-6.

Autry stopped the next Panther drive with an interception. Malcolm Bolden broke loose for a 79-yard touchdown run for the Cougars, and Autry ran for the 2-point conversion and a 16-6 Elizabethtown lead.

Elizabethtown’s Ahmad Powell picked off a Tar Heel pass at midfield and returned the ball 30 yards to the Panther 20 yardline. Lockamy bolted 5 yards for the touchdown, and Matthews dashed into the end zone for the 2-point conversion and a 24-6 lead.
