Elizabethtown – Calling churches, schools, bike clubs, greek organizations, masons, eastern stars, beta clubs, JROTC, school organizations, etc…. The Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church Young Adults Missionaries are nationally registered partners with the NFL to collect cans of soup for their annual “Souper Bowl For Caring” Drive.
The drive started January 21 and ends Saturday, February 3, 2018. Donations will be given to the church’s food pantry to aid in feeding the community and help care for those in need. Help tackle hunger in our communities!
Everyone is asked to give cans of soup for the occasion.
Collection sites are, WBLA Radio Station; 512 Peanut Road; Elizabethtown NC; Monday-Friday, Baldwin Branch Church; 4047 NC 242 Highway South; Elizabethtown NC Sundays 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and Wednesday evenings 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Donations may be mailed to the station or the church. Rita’s Personal Touch; 125 East Main Street; Whiteville NC is the Columbus County collection site.
This activity concludes with a tailgate party, music, youth flag football and mini-cheerleaders Saturday, February 3rd from noon to 3:00 p.m. on the grounds of WBLA the last drop off date.
