RED SPRINGS – Darren Bowen struck out 12 batters to lead Red Springs to a 9-0 Three Rivers Conference victory over East Bladen Wednesday night.
Jaylen Mack drove in 3 runs for the Red Devils with 3 hits. Teammates Jayshawn Carthens and Colton Locklear connected for two hits each.
Senior Xavier Wooten slammed a first inning double for East Bladen. Junior Shy Pone belted a second-inning single. Josh McKoy cracked a fourth-inning single.
Spencer Scott started on the mound and pitched 2 innings for the Eagles. Pone came on in relief to pitch the final four innings.
East Bladen will host West Columbus Friday night.
