If you missed the Bladenboro Beast Fest, you missed a good time. A huge crowed attended despite it being a little cool and windy. The day began with a tribute to Trooper Kevin Conner, the native son who was killed while on duty in Columbus County recently. Great local talent, introduction of politicians, beauty queens, good food, including collard sandwiches and an opportunity to meet and greet neighbors and friends, some who traveled a far distance to attend and topped off by a great performance by the Band of Oz. Organizers will be meeting soon to begin plans for the 2019 Beast Fest.
