The Bladen Soil and Water Conservation District is committed to environmental stewardship in Bladen County, North Carolina. Committed to preserving and enhancing natural resources, the district’s Board of Supervisors convenes regularly to chart a course for sustainable land and water management.

On May 14, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., the Board of Supervisors will convene at the McDuffie Room within the Powell-Melvin Agricultural Center at 450 Smith Circle, Elizabethtown, NC 28337. This gathering is a vital forum for discussing strategies and initiatives to conserve soil and water resources in Bladen County.

Devoted supervisors Willie Beard, Albert Beatty, Charles Gillespie, Eddie Hester, and Earl Storms guide the district’s mission. A team of committed staff, including Dean Morris, Kenneth Chip Campbell, Hackney Deans, Sean Workman, and Karen Davis, supports the district’s efforts, bolstered by a wealth of expertise and passion for environmental conservation.
