BLADENBORO – Freshman Hannah Pait pumped in 9 points to lead West Bladen to a 15-12 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over West Columbus Wednesday.
Pait tossed in a pair of baskets to give the Lady Knights a 4-0 first quarter lead. Pait dropped in a basket and a free throw in the second period, and teammate Jamiyah Melvin Hall added a basket to keep West Bladen ahead 9-7 at halftime.
Hall and Alexandria Perez delivered third quarter baskets as the Lady Knight lead grew to 13-9. Pait threw in an insurance basket in the final period.
Hall finished with 4 points for the Lady Knights who will travel to South Columbus next week.
