FAIRMONT – A 6-run third inning propelled Fairmont to a 7-1 victory over West Bladen Wednesday night in the Three Rivers Conference baseball opener for both teams.
Junior Logan West slammed a double and a single to lead the Knight hitters. Seniors Dalton Pait and Shawn Oxendine and junior Nolan Bryant connected for one hit each for West Bladen.
Bryant started on the mound for the Knights.
The Knights will travel to Red Springs Friday night.
