The tornado warning for Bladen County has been lifted by the National Weather Service. A tornado watch remains in place for southeastern North Carolina, including Bladen County, until midnight.
The tornado warning was issued after Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Council and moving north at 50 miles per hour at 2:18 p.m.
