Henry Pate, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chip Pate, formerly of Elizabethtown, participated in the Tar Heel Youth Golf Association Sapona Junior Open April 27-28 in Lexington, N.C.
Pate, playing in the 13-15 age bracket, shot 92-84=176 to place 24th.
Pate is the grandson of Sally Gooden and the late Alex Gooden.
