Molly Evans played a key role in both Clarkton School of Discovery goals as the Lady Blue Devils rallied for a 2-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference season-opening victory over Hallsboro on Thursday.
Hallsboro scored the game’s first goal 5 minutes into the match, but Evans blasted in a penalty kick to tie the score 1-1 after the Lady Tigers were whistled for a handball in the box.
Addie Bowen knocked in the go-ahead goal for Clarkton off of an Evans assist into the go-ahead goal in the second half.
