Clara is a native of Bladen County and a Registered Nurse who works in the OBCM-Obstetrics Case Management program at Bladen County Health Department. OBCM is a program for Medicaid-Eligible pregnant women who are identified through a Pregnancy Risk Screening done by their Medical provider. OBCM helps ensure that at risk maternity clients are receiving essential services, following up with medical appointments, and receiving needed support to help achieve a safe and healthy delivery. Clients include pregnant women who have a history of problem pregnancies or socio-economic factors which could affect pregnancy outcomes.
