BLADENBORO – Bladenboro’s Lady Bulldogs rolled to an 18-7 halftime lead en route to a 24-15 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ basketball victory over Williams Township Thursday.

Mallory Bryan tossed in a pair of first quarter baskets, and Brookee Singletary pumped in a basket as the Lady Bulldogs grabbed a 6-2 lead.

Noria Singletary fired in a pair of 3-point bombs in the second period, and Bryan, Megan Pait and Marly Crabtree connected for one basket each to boost the lead to 18-7.

Bryan threw in a basket and a free throw in the third quarter, and Marlie Walters made a free throw as the lead grew to 22-9. Brookee Singletary delivered the final Bladenboro basket in the final period.

Bryan led the Lady Bulldogs with 9 points, Noria Singletary followed with 6 points, and Brookee Singletary finished with 4 points. Jordane Cribb was high scorer for Williams with 5 points.

Coach Otis Evans’ Lady Bulldogs, now 5-1 in Division AA play and 6-3 overall, will travel to Elizabethtown Thursday.
