ELIZABETHTOWN – Center Chase Williams and Hezekiah Adams scored 11 points each to lead Bladenboro’s Bulldogs to a 43-12 Waccamaw Middle School AA Division victory over Elizabethtown Monday night.

Cade Allen finished with 7 points, and Landon Stanley added 6 points for the winners. DeJohn Lesane led the Cougars with 4 points.

Andre Moore bombed in a pair of 3-point shots to lead an 18-0 first quarter spurt by the Bulldogs. Cade Allen popped in a pair of baskets, and Williams muscled in a basket and a free throw. Adams drilled in a 3-point shot, and Stanley tacked on a basket.

Adams fired in a 3-point shot and another basket in the second quarter. Williams worked the paint for 2 baskets and a free throw. Stanley and Aaron Lewis threw in baskets as the Bulldog lead grew to 32-4 at halftime. Dominick Collins and Jaylen Suggs tossed in baskets for the Cougars.

Allen buried a 3-point shot for Bladenboro in the third period. Adams sank 2 free throws, and Williams made one to stretch the lead to 38-6. Chace Butler scored the Cougar basket in the period.

Williams and Stanley flipped in fourth quarter baskets, and Adams netted a free throw. Lesane dropped in both of his baskets in the final period for the Cougars, and teammate Zach Metz delivered a basket.

Coach Joseph Gore’s Bulldogs concluded their season with a 5-5 league record and 7-6 overall mark.
