NASHVILLE, TN – Stephen Gostkowski’s 45-yard attempt at a tying field sailed wide right in the closing seconds as the Pittsburgh Steelers held on for a 27-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans Sunday.

Elizabethtown’s Larrell Murchison played in his fifth game of the season on the defensive line for the Titans.

It was the first loss of the season for the Titans who trailed 27-7 in the third quarter before fighting back against the unbeaten Steelers. A 73-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ryan Tannehill to A. J. Brown ignited the rally.

A Gostkowski 51-yard field goal and a 70-yard drive that produced Derrick Henry’s one-yard touchdown run sliced the margin to 27-24 with 10:13 remaining.

Tannehill threw for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns, Brown had 6 catches for 153 yards and Henry ran for 75 yards to lead the Titans.

Tennessee, now 5-1, still leads the AFC South Division and will travel to Cincinnati Sunday for a 1 p.m. EST kickoff.
