OCEAN ISLE BEACH – Columbus County defeated Bladen County 10-0 Tuesday in the semifinals of the North Carolina Dixie Boys State Tournament.
The Bladen team had posted wins over Mt Holly 11-1 and Richlands 11-1 before losing to unbeaten Hope Mills and Columbus County. Hope Mills eliminated Brunswick County 11-0 in the other semifinal and will play Columbus County in Wednesday’s championship game.
