This past weekend at McDaniel Farms in Elizabethtown, the owners hosted their first ever Haunted Hayride. This coming Halloween weekend, they are doing it again, and Tina McDaniel, owner, says that it is fun for the whole family.

On a farm that is usually just used for hunting, they decided to try something new with their piece of land that is perfect for some fun in the spirit of Halloween — a Haunted Hayride. “We wanted to give Bladen County something to entertain the whole family,” McDaniel stated.

McDaniel shared with BladenOnline that their first weekend in business was very successful and busy, with very few breaks between tractor-pulled hayrides. She added, “We hope to offer even more next year.”

The hayride is an approximately 15-minute-long, spooky trip around the McDaniel farm, on a tractor-pulled trailer, costing just $15 per-person.

For Halloween weekend, the Hayride will be open for business Thursday, October 28th through Sunday, October 31st from 7 pm until 11 pm each night. It is located at 2064 Highway 53 West in Elizabethtown.
