West Bladen’s jayvees claimed their second straight volleyball victory Thursday with a 2-0 win over non-conference foe West Columbus by game scores of 25-14 and 25-16.
Sophomore Mikayla Winebarger rang up 10 service points, 3 aces and 2 assists to lead the Lady Knights. Teammate Abbey Young fired in 5 service points and 3 aces.
Sophomore Elizabeth Allbright hammered in 4 kills, an ace and 4 service points for the winners. Teammate Patience Parker slammed in 2 kills, 2 aces and 3 service points.
Freshman Raegan Davis knocked in 2 aces and 3 service points for the winners, and teammate Alise Pait finished with 3 service points and an ace.
Indra Rodriguez and Bethany Strickland had one service point each for the Lady Knights.
The West Bladen jayvees are now 2-2 on the season and will host St. Pauls Monday at 4:30.
