CLINTON – Clinton fought back from a 2-0 deficit to win the final 3 sets and defeat East Bladen 3-2 Monday night in Southeastern Athletic Conference volleyball action by set scores of 22-25, 14-25, 25-12, 25-13 and 15-12.
“We came up short,” said East Bladen Coach Jordan Raynor. “We won the first 2 sets with amazing play, but then our 3rd set curse hit and we couldn’t overcome it and lost the last three.”
The Lady Eagles, now 5-3 in SAC-7 play and 8-6 overall, will host West Bladen Tuesday night.
