Dixie Youth Baseball district tournaments are scheduled to open Saturday in Clarkton and Elizabethtown.
The District 2 Majors and Supplemental Majors tournaments will be played at the Clarkton Dixie Youth Baseball Complex. The District 9 Majors and Minors tournaments will be played at Leinwand Park in Elizabethtown. Tournaments will continue through Wednesday or Thursday.
The DYB Majors state tournament is scheduled to begin July 15 in Pembroke. The Minors state tournament is set to open July 8 in Lumberton.
Here is the schedule for the opening weekend of the double-elimination tournaments.

• Elizabethtown-Lumberton loser vs. Red Springs-Fairmont loser, 3 p.m.
