ENID, OK – Brunswick Community College exploded for 7 runs in the 2nd inning and rolled to a 10-2 victory over Central Arkansas Sunday night in the opening round of the NJCAA Division II World Series.
Brunswick, the No. 2 seed in the series, advanced to a winners bracket game Tuesday at 5 p.m. against No. 6 seed Madison College (WI). Madison has posted victories of 11-1 over Montgomery (MD) and 12-10 over No. 3 seed East Central (MS).
Former East Bladen star Evan Pait (pictured) is a pitcher for Coach Robbie Allen’s Dolphins but did not see action in Sunday’s opening game.
