CLARKTON – The Buddy Burney AA (Coach-Pitch) Scholarship Games begin Friday night at the Clarkton Diamond Youth Baseball Complex and continue through Saturday.
Admission is $5 for ages 13-and-over. No coolers are allowed. All gate money collected goes to the DYB Scholarship Fund. Games will be 1 hour, 30-minute drop dead time limit. The complex is located at 395 Perimeter Rd, Clarkton, NC.
The Bladen County All-Stars play at 6 p.m. Friday on Field 1 against Lumberton Maroon. Bladen County will play again on Field 1 at 7:45 Friday night against West Robeson Blue.
Play will continue Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. on both fields and continue through the day with the final game of the day beginning at 6:45 p.m.
At 10 a.m. Saturday on Field 2 Elizabethtown Supplemental will play Bladen County Supplemental. Elizabethtown Supplemental will play again on Field 2 at 11:45 against Lumberton Gold. Bladen County Supplemental will move over to Field 1 for their 11:45 game against Burgaw.
The Elizabethtown All-Stars will play Saturday at 1:30 p.m. on Field 1 against Town Creek. Elizabethtown will move over to Field 2 for a 3:15 game against Lockwood Folly.
