BLADENBORO – With his family, teammates and coaches in attendance, West Bladen first baseman Jordan Hester signed Thursday to continue his baseball career next season at Southeastern Community College.
Hester batted .250 this past season with 14 hits, 9 runs scored, 7 runs batted in, 3 doubles and posted a .417 on-base percentage as the Knights claimed 2nd place in the Southeastern Athletic Conference.
The left-handed senior lined the game-winning single to left field in the 1-0 win over Red Springs that clinched a playoff spot for the Knights. Hester belted 2 hits and scored 2 runs in a key win at Fairmont.
