TABOR CITY – Elizabethtown jumped in front 9-1 enroute to a 17-9 victory over Bladen County Saturday in the Diamond Youth Baseball District 2 AA (Coach Pitch) Supplemental Tournament.
For Elizabethtown Camden Wooten batted 2-for-4 with a double and 2 runs scored; Tyler Allen batted 3-for-3 with 3 runs scored; Ryder Butler batted 3-for-3 with a home run and 3 runs scored; Kaison Tatum batted 3-for-3 with a double and 2 runs scored; Atlantis Ripley batted 2-for-3 with a triple and a run scored.
Also for Elizabethtown: Jameson Tatum batted 3-for-3 with a double and 2 runs scored; Bryson Lee batted 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored; Caysin Dorsett batted 2-for-3 with a double; Myles Owens batted 2-for-3 with a run scored; Weston Price singled; Camden Klass doubled; M. J. Bullock batted 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored.
For Bladen County: Jensen Burney batted 3-for-4 with a double; Gus Bordeaux batted 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and a run scored; Drake Washington doubled and scored a run; Greyson Carver batted 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored.
Other Bladen hitters included: BayLyn Brisson batted 3-for-3; Coy Wilkins doubled and scored a run; Garrison Sykes batted 3-for-3; Noah Kinlaw singled and scored a run; Steven Wilkins batted 2-for-3 and scored 2 runs; Jojo Adams batted 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored.
