Saturday morning there was a bear cub spotted on Rosindale Road by Daine Smith.
Hunters on Rosindale speculated there are about five bears in the area on Rosindale.
According to northcarolinasportsman.com, dates for “bear season” in NorthCarolina, especially in the eastern third of the state, can be so different as to confuse hunters, often changing from one county to the next. According to ncwildlife.org, Bladen County’s “Bear Season”, otherwise known as Big Game Season, is Nov. 10, 2014 – Jan. 1, 2015.
So hunters will have to hold tight before aiming at the big game there on Rosindale Road. Safe hunting to all.
