West Bladen’s Four County Conference champion doubles team of Alanna Ludlum and Amber Long were eliminated in the first round of the Mid-East Class 2-A Regionals at Goldsboro Friday.
The Lady Knight duo drew a tough draw against the N. C. School of Science & Math team of Sara Yuan and Annie Xie. Yuan played in the Class 2-A state finals last year in both singles and doubles.
