Customers at the Post Office facility in Dublin received a jolt on Friday afternoon when a car struck the building.
The crash caused damage to the brick wall and a window on one side of the building.
Corey Lyons, post master, said “I was at the counter and heard what sounded like a bomb or a really loud noise.”
He said a customer was standing at the counter and turned and looked and said a car had hit the building.
“I looked around the corner and I saw the brick and wood lying on the floor,” said Lyons.
He said he hoped to have repairs made later in the evening on Friday.
