Amy’s Academy of Dance Arts competed on Saturday, June 25, at Dance Machine Productions National Dance Championships in Rock Hill, SC with our Large Production routine “Misdemeanor.”  AAODA won 12 & under Production Grand National Champions.  They were also awarded a Diamond Trophy, the highest award that could be won.  This eight minute routine was performed by 52 dancers. There was supposed to be 54 dancers in all, but two were injured, according to Amy Watson.

Competing were Holly Allgood, Grayce Blackwell, Claire Boone, Lexi Boswell, Briley Bowen, Bella Britt, Lyla Bullard, Victoria Burge, Chelsea Burney, Samantha Cahn, Leta Cain, Alli Cribb, Megan Daniels, Bethany Derosa, Ashlynn Dickerson, Jada Faison (as Missy Elliott), Ashtyn Fell, Peyton Fell, Peyton Fisher, Kiyah Gause, Madison Grainger, Carson Greene, Gabriella Harrison,  Makenzie Harrison, Caroline Herring, Jessica Holcomb,  Kaylyn Horne, Melanie Jamison, Heaven Johnson, Mahaleyann Jones, Alaina Malcolm, Mackenzie Marlowe, Madison McMillan, Blayre Meares, Anna Kay Nance, Bailey Nance, Kinley Nance, Madison Nance, Andrea Norton, Madison Pittman, Blair Potter, Macey Potter, Anna Prince, Leah Redwine, Jordan Revels, Peyton Sasser, Bella Sellers, Kelsey Skipper, Trinity Skipper, Emily Snipes, Blair Soles,  and Grace Wilkins.

Teachers were Amy Watson, Jessica Williamson and Michelle Jamison.

Brinkley Collier and Emma Ward were the two injured the week before competition.
