FORT MYERS, FL – Elizabethtown’s Freddy Wooten pitched 2.1 shutout innings Thursday to allow his Dirt Bag Camo team to rally for a 6-6 tie with GoWags Jays from Coatesville, PA in the Perfect Game 25 13U National Baseball Tournament.
Wooten took the mound with the Dirt Bags trailing 6-3 in the third inning and held the Jays scoreless for the rest of the game. The Dirt Bags tied the game with 3 runs in the fifth inning. At the plate Wooten batted 1-3 with a single.
The Dirt Bags conclude play in the tournament Friday at 8 a.m. against the Keystone Club from Harrisburg, PA.
