We have quite a few low scores to announce….but one especially. Charles DeVane, local businessman in his mid 70’s, had the misfortune of having a triple bypass last fall. Mr. DeVane has been unable to play golf since the operation. He returned to the course last week to play in the regular “ole age tossup”. Not only was he able to play….he shot a one-over par 73. Congrats Charles.
Other low scores, with no one reporting an operation of any sort, were John Williams 68, George Bousaais 71, Dr. Matthew McIntyre 71, Rick Marvin 73 and Gerald Harrington 75.
