West Bladen juniors Alanna Ludlum and Amber Long won the Four County Conference 2-A Doubles Tennis Championship Wednesday in Clinton.
Ludlum and Long dropped the first set 6-2 to the Clinton team of Nicole Spell and Blake Daniel and trailed 4-1 in the second set.
However the Lady Knights rallied to win the next four games and take a 5-4 lead. The Clinton team took the next 2 games to go up 6-5, but Ludlum and Long won the next game to force a set tiebreaker.
Ludlum and Long won the 7-5 tiebreaker which gave them a 7-6 victory in the second set. Since both teams had splits sets, a 10-point tiebreaker was played to decide the match.
Ludlum and Long jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead and went on to win the conference tournament championship match with a tiebreaker score of 10-4.
