Every year the Bladenboro Police Department and the Southeastern Cruisers Car Club spread joy by giving Christmas gifts to children.
The police department was assisted by the administrative staff of Bladenboro Primary School in selecting gift recipients.
The Southeastern Cruisers Car Club donates bicycles every year. Betsy Helms, one of the club members explains the club donates the bicycles each year for local children to enjoy. This year about 15 bicycles were given out.
“We would like to extend our appreciation to all of the citizens, businesses, and churches that make this possible every year,” Bladenboro Police Chief Howell stated.
The Bladenboro Police Department Department Christmas for Kids program collects donations all year long. Checks can be made payable to Christmas for Kids and can be dropped off at the Bladenboro Police Department or mailed to Bladenboro PD, P. O. Box 455, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
