It’s almost here! July 4th, the celebration of our Country’s independence. My fondest July 4th memories as a child include watermelon, cookouts and fireworks.
Mom and dad used to load us up in the truck with a slew of lawn chairs and we would spend the summer nights leading up to the 4thvisiting the other area town watching fireworks! I was the last of 8 children and let’s face it, fireworks are cheap entertainment for a family of 8 children! Pop some corn, grab a cooler full of coke and head out.
Here is a list of other local community’s fireworks schedules:
Goldston’s at White Lake will have a fireworks show on Tuesday, July 4th around dark
There will be a fireworks show at Festival Park in Fayetteville on Saturday, July 1 at dark
Lumberton will be having their fireworks on Monday, July 3 at Lumberton Senior High School at 9:30pm
Columbus County will have fireworks also on Monday, July 3 at the South Columbus High School at 9:30pm
There will be a fireworks show at Festival Park in Fayetteville on Saturday, July 1 at dark
