33 players showed up August 10 to compete in the Thundering Herd nine hole tournament that is held weekly at Vineyard Golf At White Lake.
The winning team, with a score of -9, was Cade Hancock, Junior Stoker, Jonathon Gooden and Jeff Pope.
There was a two-way tie for second with a score of -6. The team of Steve Maitland, Will Walters, Mike Pastore and Steven Clark tied with Mark Mendell, Jessica Wood, Robert Mazur and Brad Lee.
Anyone interested in playing in this event is asked to call the Vineyard pro shop at 910-247-6132 before 5 p.m. on Thursday. The cost to play is $20.
