DUBLIN – Bladen Community College will remember founding trustee member William Jennings “Billy” Hair at the Arbor Day celebration on Monday, April 23, at 11 A.M. near the Essic Williams Administration Building (building 10) on the Dublin campus.
During the celebration, a tree dedication will commemorate Mr. Hair’s service to the college and the community.
Bladen Community College has earned a Tree Campus USA Award recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation for the past two years. The honor is issued to colleges and universities that enjoy well-maintained and green-friendly campuses.
The event is open to the public.
