Friends of the Bay-Lakes aims to engage families in entertaining educational activities. The Bay-Lakes Friends provide supplies to Jones and Singletary Lake State Parks to assist them in running their activities and events. The nonprofit organization’s aim is to educate the public about local lakes. The community is encouraged to attend the park.
Throughout the month of March, the Friends of Bay Lakes will be holding a “Big Tree Hunt” contest. The event will take place in the state parks of Jones and Singletary Lake. On the flyer, instructions regarding participating can be found.
