A meeting was held for agriculture and forest landowners on Tuesday, January 23rd, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Bladen County Extension Office located at 450 Smith Circle Drive in Elizabethtown.

Topics to be discussed included Forest Management as an Investment and Working with a Consulting Forester; Landowner Property Rights, and NC Wildlife Resources; North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and its impacts on agriculture; Farm Bill and Farm Services Agency; Natural Resources Conservation District, Bladen Soil and Water District, Bladen Tax Office Updates, and Pesticide Reminders/Best Practices.
