The Bladen County Board of Education has a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 12, 2023. Every June, the Board members are tasked to renew annual contracts for Bladen County Schools.
When asked about an agenda for the upcoming meeting, Elly Johnson with Bladen County Schools stated, “… the agenda will be available when the official meeting notice goes out on Friday, June 9.
Once the agenda is available, it will be accessible on the Bladen County Schools Board Docs website at: https://go.boarddocs.com/nc/bcsnc/Board.nsf/Public
Some members of the public have asked for the contact list of the Board of Education members. You may find the current list of the local Board members with their contact information below in the PDF file.
According to BCS website, “School Board meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. Persons wishing to address the Board need to complete a Request to Appear Before the Board form two weeks prior to being placed on the following month’s agenda. Once scheduled to appear before the board, persons should arrive to the board meeting at least 15 minutes early and officially sign in to address the board members. Meeting agendas and actions are available on the school system website under Meetings and Agendas.”
The Board of Education meetings are held at 1489 US Highway 701 South Elizabethtown, NC unless otherwise announced.
