Sunday was celebrated as Youth Sunday at many Bladen County churches. Congregations spent Sunday morning in prayer for the county’s schools and the youth as they prepared to return to school on Monday.

Dublin First Baptist Church prayed for their youth, teachers, staff and schools on Sunday. They also traveled to Dublin Primary School and prayed in front of the building.

The Chosen Generation, the Youth of Elizabethtown Church of God, along with their Pastor Wade Hall, spent the weekend traveling throughout the county praying over all of the schools in preparation for the beginning of the new year.

Prayers were said for a good year for students and faculty and staff.
