A spill that officials believe was caused by a leaking tanker left hundreds of gallons of fuel spread along highways 87 and 41 in Bladen County.
Residents of the newly formed Dublin Fire Protection District elected Walter Bryan, Gary Pait, Gene Lockamy, M.A. Brisson, Henderson Roberts, Byron Melvin and Irene Brisson to the Fire District Board of Directors.
Bladen Lakes Players were preparing to present the play “Eagle’s Flight”.
