Bladen County Hospital Foundation announced a huge congratulations to Bladen County Hospital’s Clinical Educator, Marsha Williamson, BSN, RN III, who is a DAISY Honoree! According to the Foundation, the DAISY Award is a nationwide program that rewards excellence in nursing. It was created by The DAISY Foundation to recognize the clinical skills, extraordinary compassion and care exhibited by nurses every day.
Marsha’s Nominator shared, “Marsha being an experienced L&D Nurse, jumped into action when a patient presented to the Bladen ED in labor. Marsha instructed each member in that room on what needed to be done and how we were all going to get this baby delivered safely… And the baby was indeed delivered safely.”
Marsha is also a recipient of the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation Nursing Education Scholarship and completed her BSN this past October from Chamberlain University.
Bladen County Hospital Foundation asked in a social media post, “Please join us in celebrating Marsha and all that she does for our Bladen County Hospital patients and team!”
