A road closings update in Bladen County from the North Carolina Department of Transportation as of Monday, February 7, 2022, has been released.
CLOSED:
SR1100 (CENTER ROAD)
Center Road will close Tuesday, February 8, 2022, for crossline repair. The closure will be near NC131. It will be from February 8, 2022, 8:00 am through February 18, 2022, 5:00 pm. There will be no detour.
US Highway 701N
Both lanes of the North Bound US Highway 701 over the Cape Fear River are closed. Traffic will be rerouted to the Southbound lanes. The closure has a WIDE LOAD TRAFFIC RESTRICTION.
ELWELL FERRY
Elwell Ferry is closed. NCDOT has not released any information on when the ferry may reopen.
